YAAP v0.9.14 (Summer Release): Files, Documents, and Cleaner Profiles

• 5 min read

This release focuses on day-to-day practicality: uploading files and documents, cleaner user and employee experiences, improved contact information, and fewer translation gaps.

What’s new

File uploading and document uploading

YAAP now supports uploading files and documents so teams can keep operational materials close to the work instead of scattering them across chats and personal drives. This is the foundation for attaching files to entities, enabling better collaboration, and building auditability over time.

User and employee experience refactors

We refactored user profile info, the user page, the employee page, and contact information. The goal was consistency: clearer layouts, fewer UI surprises, and faster editing of everyday data.

Type editing modal fix + default translations

We fixed the types editing modal and added default translations to reduce “missing string” moments in multi-language setups and make the UI feel complete even when custom translations aren’t fully filled in.

Who this helps most

  • Teams that need a reliable place for documents and attachments tied to real work.

  • Organizations managing user and employee records daily and wanting a cleaner flow.

  • Multi-language teams who want fewer translation gaps and more predictable UI.

What’s next

Uploads unlock the next layer: attaching files to CRM entities and departments, clearer access rules, and later on version history and audit trails. This release is about getting the fundamentals right, so future features compound rather than collapse.
